Latin text, 12mo, approximately 140 x 70 mm, 5½ x 3 inches, engraved frontispiece dated 1664, 20 illustrations in the text of varying sizes, decorated initials in places, pages: [14], 1-670, [22 pages of index], misnumbering in places, nothing missing, bound in full contemporary vellum, lacking all but one ties. Outer and lower margins of frontispiece repaired, no loss to image, small rust hole to page 252, affecting 5 letters, pale stain to title page with slight thinning to paper, strengthened on blank verso, slight worming to pastedowns, otherwise a very good copy.
